We are proud to announce that our Bricklaying Apprentice Charlie has taken on the challenge of running the London Marathon for our chosen charity Once Upon a Smile, a children’s bereavement charity that provide practical and emotional support to families adjusting to life after the loss of a family member. He is the first person to run the London Marathon for OUAS, a very special moment for him indeed. We are all cheering you on Charlie!

Update May 2025 –
Charlie completed his first marathon in an incredible 3 hours and 40 minutes, a fantastic achievement! It was an emotional day with his girlfriend Meg keeping us updated regularly with pictures and videos whilst the rest of the team tracked and watched at home.
His final fundraising total came in at staggering £5,926.64 and we couldn’t be prouder of him! Thank you to everyone who sponsored him, it means the world to us and will make such a difference for Once Upon a Smile.
